Record rainfall for year drenches Northeast Tennessee; more rain prompts flood watch

Total rainfall in the region since January has been recorded at 33.06 inches, which put the region at 11.77 inches above the normal of 21.29 inches, according to Derek Eisentrout, meterologist with the National Weather Service in Morristown.
