Hawkins couple who killed child with grape soda receives 35-year sentence

A Surgoinsville couple accused of killing their 5-year-old daughter by forcing her to drink too much grape soda and water as a punishment were each sentenced to 35 years Monday in Hawkins County Criminal Court.
