The Milligan men’s and women’s basketball teams faced schools from different states, but the results were the same on Wednesday night at Steve Lacy Fieldhouse. The Buffs beat College of Faith 79-47 while the women rolled to an 80-54 win over Columbia.

Coach Rich Aubrey had to replace four starters, but that hasn’t tamped down expectations for the Milligan College women’s basketball team. The Lady Buffs were the co-favorites, along with Tennessee Wesleyan, in the AAC coaches’ poll.
