MOUNTAIN CITY — The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation has announced the awarding of a Recreational Trails Program grant of $196,000 to the newly established Doe Mountain Recreation Authority.

ELIZABETHTON — The Elizabethton Municipal Airport has received a $1,670,000 grant from the Tennessee Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Division. It will require a local match of 5 percent, or $87,930.
