Daniel Boone went nine innings against Cherokee but couldn't capitalized, finishing in a 6-6 tie against the Chiefs. Earlier Friday, the Trailblazers were on the wrong end of a 5-0 shutout against Knox Karns.

Baseball tourney set for six sites

If the weather cooperates, there's a lot of interesting baseball action available. The Spivey, King & Spivey Classic begins today at five sites. It expands to six sites for Friday and Saturday, and 40 games are on the schedule.
