Wilson, Witten excited about Cyclones' new stadium

It may have just been a few pieces of dirt sent flying Tuesday morning, but there was excitement in the air. A new football stadium became "in progress" as Elizabethton held a ground-breaking ceremony at the high school.

There were plenty of smiles and school spirit on the campus of Elizabethton High School on Tuesday morning as 42 gilded shovels broke the ground for the new $4.3 million football stadium.

David Crockett rolls to fourth Hardee's title

David Crockett ended the first half in a flurry and repeated it in the second half to win the championship game of the Hardee's Classic basketball tournament, and with a 60-46 victory over Greeneville, Crockett became a four-time Hardee's champ.
