Rising David Crockett sophomore Breanna Roy is headed for Jacksonville, Florida, on July 27-Aug. 2 for the USA Track & Field National Junior Olympic Championships. She will compete in the 800 meter, 1,500 meter and 3,000-meter running events.

16 members to be added to Carter County Hall of Fame

Four years ago, Charles Peters and Jamie Combs got together to start the Carter County Sports Hall of Fame. These days, there are 67 members with 16 more to be inducted during a ceremony Saturday night.
