Brittney Ezell puts her first ETSU women’s basketball team on the floor for public display Saturday in an exhibition game against Shepherd University, , and Ezell doesn’t expect the Lady Bucs to look like a finished product by any means.

ETSU’s first basketball exhibition of the preseason didn't see much defense, there was plenty of scoring in the 118-83 victory over Milligan College. The Bucs are back on the court Saturday in another exhibition against a more athletic NCAA D2 team.

A.J. Merriweather’s college basketball debut didn’t escape notice Tuesday night. The freshman went 5 of 6 from the field, 7 of 8 from the foul line and scored 17 points, with seven rebounds and five steals in ETSU’s 118-83 exhibition win over Milligan.

The ETSU women's soccer team lost in overtime at Northern Kentucky on Sunday. It ended the Lady Bucs' season, as Lipscomb defeated USC Upstate to claim the final Atlantic Sun Conference tournament berth.
