App State sends Lady Bucs to first loss

Appalachian State beat the ETSU women 76-70 in a non-conference game at Brooks Gym on Wednesday sending the Lady Bucs to 2-1. They were trying to win their first three games of the season for the first time in 20 years.

East Tennessee State signed the first player to its 2015-16 recruiting class on Monday. Bucs head coach Murry Bartow announced point guard Tyler Hooker of Simpsonville, S.C., signed a national letter of intent to play at ETSU.
