A lot of Elizabethton Twins fans were disappointed when it rained on July 3. In addition to raining out the last game of a homestand against Greeneville, it also meant the annual Snap-on 4th of July Fireworks show had to be postponed.

A driver who was involved in a single-car crash in the 1200 Block of the Milligan Highway on Friday afternoon was arrested after officers discovered he had nine previous charges of failing to appear in court to answer citations.
