State prosecutors wrapped up their case in a Jonesborough courtroom Saturday - the sixth day of trial - against a mother and daughter charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

A disturbance at a Johnson City doughnut shop Thursday led police to arrest a Church Hill woman and a Kingsport man on drug charges as a search yielded a large amount of the synthetic drug known as gravel, police said.
