David Andrew Ervin, 37, passed away at the Johnson City Medical Center on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 from complications of Lymphoma.
He was born in Johnson City to Teddy Lewis Ervin and Suzanne W. Rich on January 1, 1977 and lived in the area for most of his life.
Andy graduated from Science Hill High School and went on to graduate from ETSU. He was employed by Landmark Construction as a field engineer/surveyor at the onset of his illness. 
Andy enjoyed being on the lake. He spent many days on his boat skiing, and wakeboarding. He also loved his jet skis and 4 wheelers. He was an avid Harley Davidson admirer and made 2 cross country trips on his Harley. Andy was preceded in death by grandparents Edith and Willard Yates and Ben and Adelene Ervin; a cousin Brian Keith Ervin; and a step-brother Michael Rich.
In addition to his parents, Andy is survived by his step-father, Dennis L. Rich; girlfriend Becky Quinn and her daughter Mason; sister, Ann-Catherine Ervin; brothers Dick Ervin and wife, Laura, Christopher Ervin, and step-brother Chuck Rich; niece Georgia Ann Ervin; nephew Tad Ervin; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and the love of his life and best friend, his bulldog Mack Murdock Ervin.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 8, 2014 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at the Peerless Restaurant in Johnson City. Andy was an organ donor and his life is continued through his many gifts to others. Donations may be made to Tennessee Donor Services, or to the American Cancer Society.
