Kenny Mitchell, JOHNSON CITY

Kenny Allen Mitchell, 55, of Johnson City, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014, in Blountville, Tennessee.
He was a native of Washington County and the son of the late Earl Thomas Mitchell and Evelyn Ethel Dixon Mitchell.
Kenny was of Baptist faith and loved the Lord with all his heart.
Survivors include: wife, Tina Mitchell, of Johnson City, TN; mother, Evelyn Mitchell, of Johnson City, TN; one son, Tyler Mitchell, of Johnson City, TN; three daughters, Kirston “Booger” Mitchell, Dana Mitchell Lilly and Christina Iles, all of Johnson City, TN; five grandsons, David Darcy Gillette, Brady Gillette, Mason Gillette, Lucian Hodges and Caiden Lilly; granddaughter, Mae Lilly (favorite granddaughter); five brothers, Paul Dixon, Earl Thomas Mitchell Sr., Charlie Mitchell, Gary Mitchell and Robert Mitchell; three sisters, Patsy Carey, Mary Stewart and Carolyn Lewis; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The family of Kenny Allen Mitchell will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 25, 2014, in the Morris-Baker North Chapel.
The funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM with Pastor Clinton Andrews officiating. Pallbearers will be: Tyler Mitchell, Roy Greer, Jerry Belvins, Mark Landers, Dallas Lilly and Matt Vollmar. Honorary Pallbearers are: Eric Miller and Charlie Mitchell Jr.. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Morris-Baker Funeral Home by 10:00 AM to go in procession to the Urbana Cemetery in Limestone, TN, for an 11:00 AM committal service.
