Lena Dotson, BLUFF CITY

Lena Pearl Dotson, age 83, of Bluff City, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014, at NHC Healthcare of Bristol.
She was a daughter of the late Fred and Grace Stout Nichols and was born in Sullivan County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. “Jeep” Dotson; two sisters, Ruth Smith and Lucille Carrier; and two brothers, James Nichols and Robert Nichols.
Mr. Dotson was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church of Bluff City.
Survivors include her nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Bluff City.
The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, in Sunrise Cemetery. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 9:50 AM.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Bluff City, 219 Main Street, Bluff City, TN 37618.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of NHC Healthcare of Bristol for the love, care and friendship shown to Mrs. Dotson during the past 16 years.
