Dollie Poore, ERWIN

Dollie Hoyle Poore, age 84, 613 Spring Street, Erwin, passed away June 4, 2014, at the Johnson City Medical Center Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was a native of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Dave and Curlie Price Hoyle. Mrs. Poore was a loving mother. She was of the Baptist faith.
Other than her parents Mrs. Poore was preceded in death by her first husband, Ulysses Harris; her second husband, Alfred Poore; two sons: Adam Poore and Guy Hoyle; a brother, J.B. Hoyle; and a sister, Virgie Anders.
Mrs. Poore is survived by four sons: Carroll Harris, Michael Larry Harris and wife, Debra, Jamie Poore and wife, Janice, all of Erwin, and John Poore, Greeneville; one daughter, Kathy Runnion; two sisters, Nellie Harris and Marie Keever, both of Erwin; two half-sisters, Minnie Bell and Linda, York, PA; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Service for Mrs. Poore will be held Saturday, June 7, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. from the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Jesse Price will officiate. Pallbearers will be Richie Harris, Devin Harris, Seth Harris, Josh Huskins, Chad Runnion, Joseph Poore, Ernest Williams and Paul Braswell.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The committal will be in Evergreen Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
