Catherine Hall, ELIZABETHTON

Catherine Charlotte Grindstaff Hall, 86, Elizabethton, passed away Monday, June 2, 2014, in the Hermitage Health Center.
A native of Carter County, she was born July 29, 1927, to the late John & Margaret White Grindstaff. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband: Harry G. Hall; Three Sisters; four brothers; and a son-in-law: Raymond Oliver.
She attended New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include Two Daughters: Peggy Oliver and Betty Horton and husband, Will; a son: Rick Hall; Her Grandchildren: Amy Oliver, Libby Johnson and husband, Jimmy, Shauntrelle Horton, Michelle Horton, Connor Hall and Cade Hall; Her Great Grandchildren: Myles, Eli and Domonick; Her special friend: Shirley Campbell.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014, in the Mountain Home National Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Colbaugh, Rev. Nick Colbaugh and Mr. David Clark, Minister, officiating.
Burial will follow the service. Active Pallbears that are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday will be: Will Horton, Jimmy Johnson, Timmy Hardin, Jimmy Buckles, Connor Hall and Cade Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be: Terry Estep and Charles Jones.
The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the Staff of Hermitage Health Center and a special “Thank You” to Shannon Carrier of Caris Health Care.
In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made in her memory to the New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church, 107 Peters Hollow Road, Elizabethton, Tenn. 37643.
Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday to go to the cemetery.
