Nyoka Hammett, JOHNSON CITY

Nyoka Charlene Hammett, 57, Johnson City, died Monday, May 26, 2014 in the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Hammett was a Washington County native and the daughter of the late Bill McKenny and Edith Greene McKenny-Nickles.
She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Survivors include: husband, James Hammett, who will truly miss her; one son, Jason Hammett, also of the home; one daughter; three sisters, Helen Murray, Ruth Lovelace and Judy Nickles; and the light of her life, granddaughter, Samantha Mariah Hammett.
A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
