Master Sgt. Lynn A. Carroll, GREENVILLE, S.C.

MSgt. Lynn Anderson Carroll, 79, died May 6, 2014, at Greenville Glen Assisted Living.
A native of Bluff City, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Charles Carson and Nell Tester Carroll. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, where he retired as Master Sergeant (E8) after 23½ years of dedicated service. He was also a friend of Overbrook Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Alice Faye Ramsey Carroll, of the home; a son, Gregory Lynn Carroll, of Taylors; a daughter, Sandra Carroll Phillips, of Taylors; four brothers, Carson Carroll, Bill Carroll, John Carroll and Bob Carroll, three sisters, Beulah Haines, Ruby Davis and Kay Arnold, all of Johnson City, Tennessee; and three grandchildren, Ethan William Jones, Brittany Klein and Corey Klein.
Mr. Carroll was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
The family is at 307 Frostberry Court, Fountain Inn, SC 29644.
Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Mountain Home National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
