Geneva Webb, ORANGE CITY, Fla.

Geneva H. Webb, age 94, 525 East Roberts Street, Orange City, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, in the Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center, Palatka, Florida.
She was a native of Erwin and had made her home with a daughter, Phyllis Watson, for the past two and a half years. Mrs. Webb was a daughter of the late James Hughes and Etta Bennett Hughes.
She was a member of the Riverview Freewill Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Clayton Webb; two sons, Carroll Dean Webb and Jerry Wayne Webb; two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Watson, Orange City, Florida, Jo Ann Bogart, of Bristol, and Pat Prout, of Boone, North Carolina; Six grandsons, including a special grandson, David Sweeney and wife, Cindy; and great grandson, Joshua, and nine other great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Irene Higginbotham.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, April 30, 2014, from the Robert Ledford Funeral Home. Reverend Jesse Price will officiate. Music will be provided by Inez Chandler. Pallbearers will be Gerald Webb, Gene Sweeney, Ricky Ward and Zake Kiser.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
Committal service will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
