Judy Morris, 66, passed away in the early morning hours on Thursday, April 24, 2014, in her home.
She was born on July 19, 1947, in Holden, WV, to the late John B. and Matilda Shadd Patrick.
Judy was a native of Logan, WV, but lived in the local area for 20 years.
Judy was a high school graduate and went on to be a CNA. She was a very spiritual woman of the Baptist faith.
Judy loved spending time with her family and her faithful companion, Ralph, AKA “Mr. Lickey.” She was a loving Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was a very sweet, compassionate and kind woman, with a heart of gold, who was loved by all and never met a stranger. She was a ray of sunshine that touched many lives and taught us many life lessons.
Survivors include daughters, Barbara & husband, Cecil Willis, of Walton, WV, Jeanette Fannon, of Unicoi, TN, Cheryl & husband, Jackie Boyett, of Taft, TN, and Jennifer & husband, David Dougherty, of Charlotte, NC; son, Mack & wife, Jenny Morris, of Elizabethton, TN; sisters, Jackie Mullins, of Spring Hill, FL, and Carol Sue Dalton, of Wabash, IN; brother, James Patrick, of Cora, WV; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service for Judy Morris will be held at Snyder’s Memorial Gardens on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. Brother James Patrick will officiate.
The family would like to thank MSHA Hospice, special friends Latoya Huggins and Angel Ledford, and special children in her life, Bethany and Eric Bennett.
