Phyllis Moore, JOHNSON CITY

Phyllis Eileen Moore, age 94, of Johnson City, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014, at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center.
Born on November 13, 1919, in Warren, OH, she was a daughter of the late Floyd E. and Freda Brown Pardee.
Mrs. Moore was a proud World War II veteran, serving in the United States Navy. She was a housewife and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was a member of Chestoa Baptist Church and the American Legion, Erwin and Johnson City chapters.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Moore, in 1995; by one son, Randy Moore; and by one grandson, Cody Lee Lamb.
Phyllis Moore has left to cherish her memories: Daughters: Michele and Tim Lamb, of Johnson City, Pamela Moore, of Clawson, MI; Son: Michael and Leizl Moore, of Dallas, TX; Sister: Linda Culver, of Morley, MI; Grandchildren: Shane Lamb, Christine Higgins, Kristin Godsey and Dayna Koperski; 7 great grandchildren.
The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we honor and remember the life of Phyllis Eileen Moore in a funeral service to be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 28, 2014, in the chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Dr. Steve Dixon and Graham Bannister will officiate. Christine Higgins will offer a eulogy.
A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until service time on Monday at Valley Funeral Home.
A graveside committal service will follow at Mountain Home National Cemetery with military graveside honors. Pallbearers will be notified.
