Margaret "Marg" Hampton Churchill, TALLAHASSEE, Fla.

Margaret (Marg) Hampton Churchill, born July 19, 1929, died March 2, 2014, after a long decline.
Born in Johnson City, TN, her family moved to Orlando, FL, when she was 15. She attended Science Hill High in JC, TN, her freshman year and graduated from Orlando Senior High School in 1947. She married Robert Reid (Bob) Churchill in 1952 and moved to Tallahassee in 1964.
She was an expert seamstress & made costumes for several productions at Tallahassee Little Theater. She earned her AA from TCC in 1972. She did some work for Kelly Girls and was a volunteer Gray Lady at Leon High School.
She loved music, and sang in various choirs throughout her life, most recently at Trinity United Methodist Church. She remained a member there, but had been inactive in recent years. She also enjoyed playing piano.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, in 2010; and is survived by her sister, Edna Jean Eaton (Hank), of JC, TN; brother, Charles S. (Sonny) Hampton, of Bremerton, WA; daughter, Marcia Arthur (Brett), of Knoxville, TN; and son, Reid, of Tallahassee.
She will be missed. Memorial gifts may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
