Charlotte Taylor, ELIZABETHTON

Charlotte W. Taylor, 80, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014, in the Ivy Hall Nursing Home following an extended illness.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Eunice Grindstaff Pierce. She was a graduate of Unaka High School. Charlotte was a retired employee of Wal-Mart after twenty two years of service.
She had lived in Florida for twenty years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Brooksville, Florida, and a former member of the First Baptist Church, Elizabethton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Carolyn Burris; and a sister: Christine Elliott.
Survivors include a son & daughter-in-law: Paul “Eddie” & Judy Lewis, Elizabethton; Four Grandchildren: Eddie Lewis, Lisa Kwiek, Michael Burris and Christopher Burris; Several great grandchildren; Two Brothers: John Pierce, Elizabethton, and Tony Taylor, Bristol; Several Nieces & Nephews; A special friend: Edwin Taylor, Elizabethton.
The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the Staff & Employees of Ivy Hall Nursing Home for the excellent care received.
It was her wish to be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge.
