Brad A. Tester, 31, Johnson City, entered into rest, Sunday, March 2, 2014, at his residence.
Brad was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City. He was a son of Bobby Dean Tester Sr. and Sandra Barry Tester, Johnson City.
Brad graduated from Happy Valley High School in 2000 and was a former employee of General Shale and Hampton Prints.
He was a very caring, generous person who enjoyed football, basketball and baseball but the activity he most enjoyed was fishing.
Brad attended Hampton Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Dean Tester Jr., in 2002; and his maternal grandparents, John and Irene Barry.
In addition to his parents, Brad leaves to cherish his memory his paternal grandparents, Hobart and Betty Bradshaw, Johnson City; aunts, Mary Sparks and husband, Lynn, Johnson City, Karen Ellis and husband, Clark, Jonesborough, Sharon Mitchell and husband, Charlie, Johnson City; uncles, Danny Tester and wife, Patty, Gray, Mike Barry and wife, Judy, Johnson City, John Barry, Johnson City, Frank Barry and wife, Carlene, Watauga, and Danny Barry, Johnson City; several cousins; special friend, Tamika Marshall, Alabama; and his best companion, his dog “Sheena.”
The family will greet guest from 1:00 PM until a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM Friday, March 7, 2014, at Washington County Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
Committal services will follow. Reverend Danny Tester and Reverend Hobart Bradshaw will officiate. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
