Ada Munsey Ford, KINGSPORT

Ada Munsey Ford, age 92, died at The Wexford House on Monday, January 13th, 2014.
She was born in Blackwater, Virginia, to the late Adrian and Maudie Roberts Munsey. Ada retired from Tennessee Eastman Company after 33 years of service. She loved to crochet, knit and do crafts. She was a member of Fordtown Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Ada is preceded in death by loving husband, David E. Ford; her sister, Valice Ledbetter; her brother, George Munsey; and her niece, Marilyn Collingsworth.
Left to cherish her memory is her niece, Linda (Dennis) Crabtree; her nephew, Richard (Ida) Munsey; three great-nieces; two great-nephews; and four great-great-nieces.
The family will receive friends in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel at Oak Hill Funeral Home on Friday, January 17th, 2014, from 11:00 until 12:00 PM.
The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM with Rev. Bryan Moore officiating.
The committal service will follow the funeral service in the in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Ford will be laid to rest in Oak Hill Mausoleum Number II at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions are made to Fordtown Baptist Church, 444 Old Fordtown Road, Kingsport, TN 37663.
