Zelmer Sue Hyder White, ELIZABETHTON

Zelma Sue Hyder White, 77, 162 White Road, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at her residence.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Arizona Carver Hyder. She was a former employee of Life Care of Elizabethton. Zelma was of the Free Will Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donel Ray White; and a son: Jack Woodby.
Survivors include her life partner: Tom Markland; Two Children: Johnny Woodby, Bristol, Tenn., and Linda Woodby McConnell and husband, Scott, Bluff City; Five Grandchildren: Jackie Cross, Nikki Fair, Clinton Woodby, Katie Woodby and Justin Woodby; Three Great Grandchildren: Sydney and Connor Cross and Brayden Brown; One Sister: Iva Lea Presley, of Mississippi; Four Brothers: Ronnie & Eddie Hyder, of Adrian, Michigan, Mike and Leslie Williams, Elizabethton; Several nieces & nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Steve Burleson officiating.
Graveside Service and Interment will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Highland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at her residence. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday to go to the cemetery.
