Melissa "Missy" Paige Dykes Skelton, BLOUNTVILLE

Melissa “Missy” Paige Dykes Skelton, 46, Blountville, TN, went to be with the Lord on December 30, 2013.
Missy graduated from Daniel Boone High School and earned a Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. She had been employed by Aerus in Bristol, VA, for 15 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Vernon Dykes Sr.
Missy is survived by her husband, Jack Skelton; daughters, Ashley Matherly and Bridget Tester; son, Justin Matherly; grandchildren, Lilly Tester and Owen Matherly; mother, Shelby Jean Pritchard, and step-father, Paul Pritchard; sisters, Debbie Stevens, Jackie Broome, Susan Boswell, Kathy Brown and Shirley Harkleroad; brother, Claude Dykes Jr. and wife, Patricia; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A special thank you to her co-workers at Aerus, Kingsport Oncology and to the people at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Dewey Shaffer and Preacher Russell Ferguson officiating. Music will be by the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tommy Stevens, Danny Stevens, Craig Stevens, Jon Tester, Jimmy Winegar, Jody Money, Andrew Bright and Johnny McPeek.
