Ronald "Ron" Edwards, GRAY

Ronald (Ron) Edwards, age 73, of Gray, TN, went to his heavenly home Friday, December 27, 2013, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Born in Clintwood, VA, Dickenson County, he was the former operator of Speedy Car Wash, owner-operator of Professional Car Wash in Kingsport, and a former dispatcher at Mason-Dixon Tank Lines in Kingsport. Ronald was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church.
Mr. Ronald Edwards was the son of the late, Edgar Edwards and Nell Robinson Edwards of Coeburn, VA;. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, John Bill Edwards of Bristol, VA.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Nina Baker Edwards of the home; son, Shawn Edwards and wife, Cindy, of Jonesborough, TN; daughter, Sherri Edwards of Harrington, Fla.; four grandsons, Andrew and Michael Tuggle of Orlando, FL, and Adam and Luke Edwards; brother, Gene Gary Edwards and wife, Wanda, of Church Hill, TN; sisters-in-law, Iris Davis of Kingsport, TN, Louella Stanley and Libby Mullins; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Eddie and Judy Baker; mother-in-law, Jettie Baker, all of Clintwood, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends, Monday, December 30, 2013 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. with funeral services to begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Tri-Cities Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Greg Burton officiating. Graveside services will follow in Tri-Cities Memory Gardens in Blountville, TN. Pallbearers will be Family & Friends.
Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make a donation to Colonial Heights Baptist Church.
