Ruth M. Randolph, age 88, Erwin, passed away Thursday morning, December 18, 2013, at the Center on Aging & Health.
She was born in Erwin, Tennessee, to Jim & Bertha McCurry on May 20, 1925. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Wood Randolph; brother Jack McCurry; & sister, Hazel Lewis.
Survivors include: daughters, Janet Randolph McNabb and Tammy Randolph Graybeal; son, Jon Alan Randolph & his wife, Penny; grandchildren, Lori McNabb & her husband Joe Ropson, Josh McNabb, Adam McNabb & his wife, Sarah, Amanda Allen & her husband, Bryan, Tim Graybeal, Houston Tittle; and six great grand-children; nieces, Carol Garland, Jackie Lane and Ann Keesecker.
Ruth retired from Erwin Utilities and later worked for the Older American Program with the Forest Service. She also worked many years for Range Chevrolet.
Ruth was a faithful member of First Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was a loyal Democrat and loved politics. Ruth also volunteered with Meals on Wheels and U.E.T.H.D.A.. She was recognized as a Tennessee Colonel Aide de Camp.
Most important to her was her family — her husband, children, grandchildren & close friends. She loved them all dearly.

Services will be on Sunday, December 22nd, 2013, at Robert Ledford Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m.; funeral service at 2 p.m. conducted by Reverend Tony Rutherford. Special music will be provided by Brenda Barnett.
Interment service will be held at a later date in Mountain Home National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 200 Love Street, Erwin, Tennessee 37650; or to the Unicoi County Animal Shelter.
