Pete Fink, GRAY

James “Pete” Fink, Sr., age 74, of Gray, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013, at home after a lengthy illness.
He was a son of the late Dollie M. Davidson and Woodrow Fink. He retired as a shipping clerk for IJ Food Service.
Pete attended Boones Creek Freewill Baptist and New Life Praise and Worship. He served as a deacon for many years. Pete loved the Lord.
He loved his family and was loved by many — a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Kim Fink, in 2009; one sister, Mary Perkey; two brothers, Truman Fink and Albert Fink.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey Ann Hicks Fink; sons and daughters-in-law, James K. (Petie) and Teresa G. Fink, Wayne B. and Crystal Fink; one daughter and son-in-law, Tenia and Jr. Crawford; sisters, Judy Arnold and Marilyn Grasty; brother, Leron Fink; several nieces, nephews and cousins; grandchildren, Matthew and Jennifer Fink, Ashley Fink, Dwayne and Kristy Crawford, Michelle Crawford, Jason Sproles and Hannah Fink; one great-grandchild, Carson Crawford.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-6 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel and services will follow at 6 p.m. with Rev. Jackie Cole and Rev. Gary Hodge officiating.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Snyder’s Memory Gardens. The family requests to meet at the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Petie Fink, Wayne Fink, Matthew Fink Jr. Crawford, Dwayne Crawford and Jason Sproles. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Norris, Clay Hammonds and Bill Hammonds.
