Roy Bradford Little, 81, of Statesville (formerly of Newton), passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Catawba Regional Hospice.
Born June 13, 1932, in Catawba County to the late Percy and Ethel Settlemyre Little. Roy was the plant manager of Southern Glove in Mt. City, Tenn.
Survivors Include: Wife of 30 years: Mary Fox Little, of Statesville; Son: Jeffrey Little and wife, Anita, of Connelly Springs; Daughters: Debbie L. Punch and husband, Dwight, of Hickory, Scottie L. Overton and husband, Jimmy, of Connelly Springs; Mother of his children: Billie Sue Hall, of Hickory; Step-Son: Kevin Edwards and wife, Emily, of Newton; Step-Daughter: Andrea Edwards and husband, Bill Wortman, of Statesville; Brother: Percy Dale Little, of Newton; Sister: Marlene Cole, of Cincinnati, Ohio; Six Grandchildren; Ten Great-Grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 20, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. at Old St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Newton. The Rev. Robert Sain will officiate.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 20, 2013, from 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at Old St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Roy B. Little Memorial Fund, ? Jeff Little, 8581 Parker Ave., Connelly Springs, NC 28612; or Bradford and Dora Settlemyre Memorial Endowment Fund in memory of Roy Little, ELCA Foundation, 8765 West Higgins Rd., Chicago, IL 60631.
