Mrs. Ima Jean Barnes, age 75, of Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013, at her residence.
Mrs. Barnes was a native of Benton, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Christian and Ollie May Foster Lequieu. In addition to her parents, her loving husband, David Barnes, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Barnes was vice president of sales and marketing for Plus Products.
Survivors include two sons, David Michael Barnes and his wife, Deborah, and Dana Christian Barnes; one brother, Richard Lequieu; two grandsons, Michael Lynn Barnes and Lonnie Human.
The graveside committal service for Mrs. Ima Jean Barnes will be conducted at 2:30 PM Tuesday, December 17, 2013, in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. The American Legion chaplain will officiate. Family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 2:20 PM Tuesday.
