Joyce Nadine Trivett Campbell, ELIZABETHTON

Joyce Nadine Trivett Campbell, 82, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013, in the Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was born in Dungannon, Virginia, a daughter of the late Ivan and Agnes Sutherland Trivett. She had lived most of her life in Carter County. She was a 1948 graduate of Happy Valley High School. She was of the Christian Faith.
Mrs. Campbell loved to play Bingo, Travel and collect Angels.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Sye Campbell, December 1993; and by two sons: Gregory Carl Campbell and Ronald Elbert Campbell.
Survivors include a son: Jeff Campbell, of the home, and his special friend: Ann Hundley, Owosso, Michigan; Two Daughters: Debra Barker, Marion, Michigan, and Karen Bolen and her husband, David, Burton, Michigan; 13 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; and 3 Great Great Grandchildren; Two Sisters: Gaynell Ilar, Kingston, Tenn., and Marlene Tolley and husband, Keith, Elizabethton; Two Brothers: Johnny Trivett and wife, Lois, Kingston, Tenn., and Gary Trivett and wife, Frieda, Hampton; Several Nieces & Nephews.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2013, in the Campbell Cemetery, Ed Greene Road, Hampton, with Mr. Bobby McGee officiating.
Burial will follow the service. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the Staff of Life Care Center, Johnson City Medical Center and Sycamore Shoals for the excellent care she received.
