Margaret Edwards, BERRYVILLE, Va.

Margaret Ruth Edwards, 92, of Berryville, Virginia, formerly of Greenville, South Carolina, died Sunday, November 24, 2013, in the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia.
A memorial service will be held at Piedmont Park Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina, on Saturday, December 7th, at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Pastor S. Martin Atkins.
Mrs. Edwards was born July 5, 1921, daughter of Ronald Earl and Addie Ester Heck. She graduated in 1943 from the University of Virginia with a B.S. degree in Nursing. She was a 2nd Lieutenant in the Women’s Army Corps during WWII. She attended Piedmont Park Baptist Church. She was a Registered Nurse for the offices of Dr. Peter G. Manos and Dr. Lewis Jones.
She will be lovingly remembered for her skill at baking, craftwork and particularly caregiving as a nurse both in her career and as a volunteer.
Surviving are a son, Ronald Edwards, of Boyce, Virginia, and his wife, Christine Kestner; a daughter, Linda Karen Little; four grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
