Ronnie Howard Yelton, 71, Johnson City, passed away at his residence on Monday, December 2, 2013.
He was a native of Bakersfield, NC, and the son of the late Howard and Martha Winters Yelton.
Mr. Yelton proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Lavina Claman; brother: Charles Yelton.
Mr. Yelton is survived by his loving wife: Kong Cha “Kim” Yelton; children: Lori Ann Houke, Ronnie Keith Yelton and wife, Lori; sister: Frances Street, Barbara Crincole; brother: Richard Yelton and wife, Pauline; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service for Ronnie Howard Yelton will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at 7:00 PM in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor Kenneth Grindstaff and Pastor Tony Trott officiating.
The family will greet friends from 5:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
A Graveside and Committal service will be held in Washington County Memory Gardens on Thursday at 1:00 PM. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Everyone is asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:30 PM to go in procession to the cemetery.
