Floyd Clark, BAKERSVILLE, N.C.

Floyd Clark, 83, of the Fork Mtn. Community, Bakersville, NC, passed away on Monday, December 2nd, 2013, in the VA Medical Center.
He was the son of the late Andy and Martha Berry Clark and the husband of the late Joann Hicks and Gerrell Garland Clark. Also preceding him in death was his daughter, Marty Burding; sisters: Earlene Edwards, Ethel Butler and Euvada Moffitt.
Floyd is survived by his son: Kyle Clark and wife, Alice, of Watauga, TN; daughters: Jeanne Grindstaff and husband, John, and Vickie Yelton and husband, Clay, all of Bakersville; sisters: Florence Francis, Ella Riddle and Mary Ingram, brother, Junior Clark, all of Unicoi; grandchildren: Amy Clark, Jason and Jennifer Maxwell and Luke Yelton; great granddaughter, Kaylee Mathis; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 4th, 2013, in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home with Pastor G.B. Garland officiating.
The family will receive friends two hours prior the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Garland Greene Cemetery with the North Carolina National Honor Guard conducting military graveside rites.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the VAMC doctors and nursing staff for the loving care they gave Floyd.
