Margaret Kleffman, GRAY

Margaret Gay Compton Kleffman, 74, Gray, TN, entered into rest Monday, November 11, 2013, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Kleffman was a native of Drill, VA, and had lived most of her life in Washington County. She was a daughter of the late Claude and Zeolia Hess Compton.
Mrs. Kleffman was retired from Marshall’s Department Store. She was a member of Boones Creek United Methodist Church and has served as a Den Mother for both Girls and Boys Scout Troops.
Mrs. Kleffman leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Thomas Kleffman; two daughters, Pamela Ashby and husband, Ronald, Jonesborough, Deborah Smith and husband, Donovan, Fuquay Varina, NC; one son, Michael Kleffman and wife, Suzie, Grant, AL; two sisters, Geneva Cotsmire, WVA, and Doris Smith, Bucyrus, Ohio; six grandchildren, Jason and Jerry Ashby, Shalay Kleffman, Chloe Kleffman and Britani Smith and Hailey Smith; and several great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013, at the funeral home.
A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thursday from the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral and Cremation Services, Johnson City, TN.
Committal and graveside services will held at 11:00 am Friday at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. to travel in procession to the cemetery. Reverend Ken Lytton and Reverend John Hitchew will officiate. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
