Mrs. Linda Sue Foster Wells, age 65, a resident of Elizabethton, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, in the Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, Tennessee.
She was born November 8, 1947, in Pennington Gap, Lee County, Virginia. Linda was a Christian with a kind heart and was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She also enjoyed cooking and crafting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice Daniel “Bern” Foster and Myrtie Victoria Edwards Foster; and sister-in-law, Peggy Foster.
Survivors include: Son: James Leonard “Lenny” Wells, of Elizabethton, TN; Daughter & Son-in-law: Della LuAnne & John Camacho, of Auburn, CA; Grandchildren: Isaiah, Josiah, Alexas and Elijah Camacho; Brother & Sister-in-law: David L. & Karon Foster, of Rockwood, TN; and several special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 11, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, 115 Old Hen Valley Rd., Oliver Springs, TN.
Funeral services will follow on Monday, November 11, 2013, at the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church with Pastor Garvan Walls officiating.
Graveside services and interment will follow in the Mount Pisgah Cemetery, Oliver Springs.
