Geneva Pierce, 68, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, November 1, 2013, in the Asbury Place, Johnson City, after a brief illness.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Ira B. and Callie Pierce. She was a member of the Blue Springs Christian Church.
Survivors include a brother & sister-in-law: Danny & Alice Pierce, Gray; A Niece and her husband: Susie & Billy Joe Williams Jr., Limestone; Two Great Nephews: B.J. Williams III and Ray Alan Williams; Several Aunts, Uncles & Cousins.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday, November 3, 2013, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Hodges officiating.
Graveside Service and Interment will be at 10 a.m. Monday, November 4, 2013, in the Buckles Cemetery. Active Pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 9:20 a.m. Monday, will be: B.J. Williams, Ray Williams, Billy Joe Williams, Sherrill Bowers, Jerry Pierce and Mike Pierce. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Paul Pierce, Martin Pierce Jr., Howard Nickels and Jackie Ramsey.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of her brother & sister-in-law: Danny & Alice Pierce, 129 Wiley Road, Gray. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 9:20 a.m. Monday to go to the cemetery.
