Forrest Salts, JOHNSON CITY

Forrest Salts, 34, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013 in Johnson City.
He was born August 19, 1979 to Laura Dyson-McGee and the late Ralph Salts. Forrest remained in the area his entire life.
Forrest was a former employee for the City of Johnson City-Public Works Department. He was of the Baptist faith and was an avid car, sports and motorcycle enthusiast. Forrest loved his family, friends, and the Dallas Cowboys.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandfather, Clyde Salts; aunt, Carol Lady; and uncle, “Jerry” Salts.
Forrest is survived by wife, Sandra Salts; children, Fabian, Chase and Hayden Salts; mother & step-father, Laura & Brian McGee; maternal grandmother, Loretta Mosley; paternal grandmother, Barbara Salts; brother, David Salts & wife, April; aunt, Jewel Garland; nieces, Patience Matthews and Jayden & Alex Salts; cousin, Cody Williamson; and many more special family members and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 1, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at Snyder’s Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m. Pastor Scott Thompson will officiate.
Friends may call upon the homes of both Laura, Forrest’s mother, and his wife, Sandy.
