Betty Wingo, GRAY

Betty Jean Wolfe Wingo, age 80, of Gray community, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, October 7, 2013 at Holston Valley Community Hospital.
She was a daughter of the late Evangeline Honaker and Guy Buckles Wolfe and was a native of St. Paul, VA.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Wingo in July, 2012; two daughters, Tina Dunford of Gray and Janie Wingo of W.VA.; one grandson, Justin Dunford of Gray; one brother, Billy Eugene Wolfe of Falls Church, VA. Mrs. Wingo attended Restoration Church of Kingsport.
She is survived by three sons, Bucky and Kelley Wingo of Raleigh, NC, Darren “Dog” and Shawna Wingo of Gray, Ralph Wingo of War, W.VA.; one daughter, Mosseallettia and Tim Jones of Bedford,VA; one sister, Linda Wolfe Hoffmann of Tazewell, TN; two brothers, Guy Edward and Evone Wolfe of War, W.VA. and Jimmy Lee Wolfe of Tazewell, TN; several nieces, nephews, cousins; nine grandchildren, Ronnie Dunford, Tony Dunford, Becky Jones, Derrick Wingo, Aleisha Wingo, Jessica Wingo, Samatha Cox, Erin Wingo and Rachel Wingo; nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 11, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Grandview Cemetery, Bluefield, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
