Mary R. Elzea, GRAY

Mary R. Elzea, 63, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 4, 2013.
She was born in Flint, MI to the late William and Mabel Shannon on February 10, 1950. She was a native of Flint, but lived in this area for 16 years.
Mary was of the Christian faith and could do anything; she loved to crochet, can, sew and study her Bible. Mary touched the life of everyone she met.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Terri Davison; brothers, Darwin, Bill, Toney and Vincent Shannon.
Mary is survived by her spouse of 38 years, Michael L. Elzea, of the home; son, Eric Elzea & wife, Cindy, of Gray; brothers, Howard, of Sterling, MI; Darrell, of Mayville, MI; Dan, of Muskegon, MI and Bruce, of Standish, MI; and grandcihildren, David and Jared Elzea.
A Memorial Service will be held at Snyder’s Memorial Gardens on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. Craig Shelton will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mary’s name to Tri State Baptist Children’s Home, 1528 Vance Tank Road, Bristol, TN or a children’s charity of your choice.
