Julia Alice Wagner, 78, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Texas.
“Alice” was born December 14, 1934, in Sevierville, Tennessee, the daughter of Francis Bradley and Susie Nevella Messer.
Alice lived in the Johnson City area until the Air Force called her husband, David Wagner, to Perrin Field. Shortly thereafter, they founded Pottsboro Marine Center. Later in life, Alice was well known as the auto-parts lady at Walmart and at the old Gibson’s store in Denison.
She is survived by sons David Wagner & wife, Dina, of Durant, Roy Wagner & wife, Belinda, of Denison; daughter, Jo Ann Arnold & husband, Richard, of Pottsboro, Texas; sisters, Janelle Lutrell and Merie Averett; brothers, Omar, H.J., Ed and Michael Bradley, all of Johnson City, Tennessee; grandchildren, Ashley Spurgeon, L.D. Wagner, Danielle Wagner and Laci Arnold; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father and brothers, Ray and Homer.
