Bernie Tyree, 75, Jonesborough, entered into rest Thursday, September 26, 2013, at his residence.
Mr. Tyree was a native of Sandy Hook, KY, and had lived in Jonesborough for several years.
He was a son of the late Luke and Margaret Whitt Tyree and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford Tyree and Clayton Tyree.
Mr. Tyree was the owner of Bernie Tyree Auto Service Center.
He enjoyed gardening and traveling and attended Nolichucky Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Bledsoe Tyree, Jonesborough; one daughter, Angela Manning, KY; one son, Tony Tyree, KY; three sisters, Bessie Harris and her husband, Marion, Kingsport, Ruth Schumacher and her husband, Larry, KY, and Violet Mitchell and her husband, Paul, KY; one brother, Wayne Tyree and his wife, Marilyn, KY; one sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Tyree, KY; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Several Nieces and Nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM Sunday, September 29, 2013, until a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 PM at Tetrick Funeral and Cremation Services, Johnson City. Pastor Roscoe Higgins will officiate.
