Dorothy Moss Croley, ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky.

Dorothy Moss Croley, 86, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at Allegro Assisted Living.
Mrs. Croley was a native of Memphis, TN, and lived most of her life in Johnson City, TN. Most recently, she was a resident at the Allegro assisted Living in Elizabethtown.
She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, where she had served as Clerk of the Vestry, Church School Superintendent, President of Episcopal Church Women and altar guild chairman. She was a member of the Junior League of Johnson City, having served as president.
Mrs. Croley was a graduate of Central High School, Memphis, and attended Texas State College for Women, Denton, TX, and East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alice Merz Moss and William Ray Moss.
Survivors include one daughter, Alice Clay Croley Sullivan (Kevin), of Elizabethtown; two sons, Dr. Granville Giltz Croley (Jill), of Concord, NC, and John Randolph Croley (Gemma), of Houston, TX; and eight grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Katherine Irene Meek, of Lawton, OK, and Alice Lucille Moss, of Memphis, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home with Revs. Matthew Kimmons and John Vaught.
Burial will be in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 12 p.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home.
