Tempie Jay Ellision, ELIZABETHTON

Tempie Jay Clark Ellison, 82, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013, in the Life Care Center of Elizabethton.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Juanita Odom Clark. She was a retired employee of Empire Furniture. She was of the Free Will Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Ellison, September 11, 2000; by two sisters: Pauline Clark and June Bise; and three brothers: Rex, Ivan and Roger Clark.
Survivors include Two Daughters: Doris Puckett and husband, G.W., Elizabethton, and Glenda Cox, Kingsport; A Son: Odis Ellison Jr. and wife, Kerry, Winchester, Tenn.; Eight Grandchildren; Three Great Grandchildren; Five Sisters: Audrey Turner, Johnson City, Opal Shell, Roan Mountain, Eunice Garrett, Blountville, Janice Leonard, Bristol, Virginia, and Katherine Rimmer, Bristol, Tenn.; One Brother: Dennis Clark, Hampton; Several Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dale Blevins officiating.
Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2013, in the Lyons Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:20 a.m. Friday to go to the cemetery.
