Christopher N. Stamm, 30, Johnson City, TN., tragically suffered a fatal car accident on September 12, 2013. Surviving are his fiancé’, Tabatha Burr and their children, Gabriel, 6; Kindal, 5; Jasmine, 4; and Bentley, 21 months, of Gray, TN; also Isis Stamm, 9, of Charlotte, NC, daughter of Aimee Schlusse. His father and stepmother, Rick and Linda Stamm and younger brother, Caleb Stamm of Johnson City, TN. His mother and stepfather, Deborah and Stan Hager of Charlotte, NC. Brother, John Stamm of Charlotte, NC and nephew, Maddox of Germany. Sister & brother-in-law, Melonna and Scott Baumgartner of Orlando, FL. Stepsisters, Mary McCall, Jennifer Hager, and Carrie Hager of Charlotte, NC. Brother-in-law, Gregg Arave and nieces, Ashlei, Rebecca, and Nea, nephew Patrick all of Idaho Falls, ID. He was preceded in death by his sister, Chenee’ Arave if Idaho Falls, ID.
He was born March 8, 1983, in Abilene, TX, lived in Asheville and Charlotte, NC then moved with his fiancé’ and children to Gray, TN. He was employed at Moe’s Southwestern Grill in Johnson City, TN providing management and catering services.
Chris was an amazing father, brother, son, and friend. He lived to make each day count. He strived to do great things for not only himself, but for his family he loved so dear. Chris thought of his friends as family and loved each one. Chris was full of laughter and love, openly sharing with whomever he reached. He touched many lives near and far. He will forever be remembered in our hearts and minds. He is watching over us with his sister by his side.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Charlotte, NC on Friday, September 20th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with reception immediately following. Flowers may be delivered directly to the church. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions for his children’s college funds may be made to State Employees Credit Union in Charlotte, NC.
