M. Carol Hill, WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.

Mrs. M. Carol Hill went home to be with her Savior, unexpectedly, at her home Sunday, September 15, 2013. She was born in Indiana County, Pa. on June 15, 1942 to James and Ruth Hunter Campbell. Carol was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Johnson City, Tn. Carol was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Milton ‘Bud’ Hill, Jr. of the home; daughter, Sherri Falin and husband Barry of Charleston, S.C.; two sons, Brian Hill and wife Lynn of Johnson City, Tn., and Joe Hill and wife Cathy of Winston-Salem; mother-in-law, Virginia A. Hill of Johnson City, Tn.; brother-in-law, Dennis Hill and wife Jenny of Gray, Tn.; seven grandchildren, Christopher Falin and wife Daragh, Stephen Falin and Lauren, David Falin, Aaron Falin, Mackenzie Fox, Emily Hill, Brody Hill, and Kevin Grindstaff and wife Becca; three great-grandsons, Tyler Grindstaff, James Falin, and Liam Kowalczyk; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 10301 N. NC Hwy 109, Winston-Salem, NC 27107. The family will receive visitors at the home, 1754 Ridgestone Lane, Kernersville, NC anytime prior to or following the memorial service. Memorial gifts may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
