Margaret Ann Bailey Bennett, ERWIN

Margaret Ann Bailey Bennett, age 73, 800 Broyles Street, Erwin, passed away at 10:50 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2013, at Johnson City Medical Center.
She was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County, a daughter of the late John Orville and Bertha Lee Norton Bailey. Mrs. Bennett attended Pentecostal Holiness Church until her health began to decline.
She was a loving and devoted mother and mamaw.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, John Jason Bennett.
Mrs. Bennett is survived by three sons: Larry Bennett, Erwin, Alan Bennett, Elizabethton, Scott Bennett and wife, Tammi, Lancaster, California; a daughter, Gina Correll and husband, Kenny, Erwin; six grandchildren: Heather Stanford and husband, Jon, Chattanooga, Justin Bennett and wife, April, Johnson City, Robert Correll and wife, Mindy, Erwin, Mike Bennett and wife, Tracy, Elk Horn, Wisconsin, Kelsey Bennett and Emily Bennett, both of Lancaster, California; five great-grandchildren: Cadence Stanford, Emersyn Stanford, Trey Correll, Crissy Bennett and Nathain Bennett; one step granddaughter, Amy McKinney and husband, Lynn, Hampton; two step great-grandsons: Dannie McKinney and Caleb McKinney; two brothers: John Bailey and wife, Laura, Michigan, Danny Bailey and wife, Wanda, Unicoi; one sister, Faye Foster and husband, Arnie, Erwin; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special friend, Linda Correll.
Funeral service for Mrs. Bennett will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013, from the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Earl Ragland will officiate. Family members will serve as active pallbearers.
The family will receive friends prior to the service between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Wednesday.
The committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 19, 2013, in Evergreen Cemetery. Those attending are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
