Frances Piers, 87, Johnson City, entered into rest, Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the home of her daughter.
Mrs. Piers was a native of Mountain View, CA and had lived with her daughter in Johnson City for the past four years.
She was a daughter of the late Manuel and Frances Milan Navarro and was also preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Ann Piers, and her husband of 63 years, John Byron Piers, who was taken from her in 2009 by Alzheimer’s disease.
She was an active and dedicated catholic.
Mrs. Piers leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Sharon Piers, Johnson City; three grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren all in California.
